Bruins Safe App

Get the Bruins Safe app to receive instant notifications and instructions when on-campus emergencies occur, contact campus safety staff quickly for help during an emergency, access important safety resources and report hazards, near misses and other safety concerns.


BruinALERT

UCLA's public alert & warning system, used to distribute emergency notifications to the campus community. A BruinALERT emergency notification is primarily used in an emergency to notify the UCLA campus community of a dangerous situation and/or immediate threat to their health or safety. Case Management Services

If you are feeling distressed and are coping with multiple needs such as academic concerns, financial crisis, health and well-being, relationship dynamics, or other stressors, you may consider working with Case Management Services.


Financial Aid

If your family’s ability to contribute towards your educational costs has been impacted and you would like to speak with a financial aid counselor about how financial aid can help, please contact the Message Center or call Financial Aid and Scholarships at 310-206-0400.



Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS staff are here to support your mental health needs and provide you with practical coping advice. You can call a counselor 24-hours a day at 310-825-0768. CAPS is prepared to serve as crisis line for students in need of support because of fires, and they can be reached at 310-825-0768. Students can receive support from a crisis counselor as well as a referral to case management and basic needs support through ECRT.


Resilience in your Student Experience (RISE)

UCLA RISE Center also provides support for mental and emotional wellbeing, including mindfulness and meditation events every week. The RISE Center will hold specialized drop-in support and programming for those impacted by fires daily Monday through Thursday from 1pm-5pm through the end of January 2025.

Wildfire mapping and alert app powered by real people giving you real-time information vetted by trained professionals. While many other apps rely solely on government alerts, which can often be delayed, Watch Duty provides up-to-the-minute, life-saving information through a dedicated team of active and retired firefighters, dispatchers, first responders, and reporters who monitor radio scanners around the clock.
